Though it’s tough to generate excitement over a Kingdom Hearts game, because so many of them change up the gameplay and the core story, Kingdom Hearts 3D seems like the one to check out – not just because it is hitting Nintendo’s new handheld, but because its North American release may be sooner than we thought. As we already know from the Nintendo Direct address that took place a few days ago, Kingdom Hearts 3D is heading to Japanese markets in late March, the 29th to be exact, but beyond that other markets were left in the dark....

In Kingdom Rush games, players oversee a medieval fantasy map, which they must populate with towers, in order to protect the pathway to their base from ever-expanding enemy armies. The first trailer for the Nintendo Switch version of Kingdom Rush: Frontiers describes features exclusive to the console, including new enemies and tower upgrades. You’ll even have to deal with aliens at some point. A combination of real-time strategy and building, Kingdom Rush players place mages, archers, barracks and artillery “towers” strategically around the map....

The Kiss Confirmed mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will last till February 18th. The Kill Confirmed multiplayer mode allows players to collect Valentine’s Day-themed candy hearts instead of dog tags when they earn a kill. The Kill Confirmed limited-period event is also accompanied by a dedicated Kill Confirmed playlist for everyone to enjoy. League Play officially launched in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on February 8th as preparations for the Call of Duty League 2021 season continue in full flow....

EverQuest Next is the…er…next likely successor to the World of Warcraft throne, or at least developer Sony Online Entertainment hopes it will be. So much so, that they’ve started small, with a fan-focused building experience called Landmark. As we’ve detailed before, the sandbox experience of Landmark is slowly starting to grow, and in the next two weeks it will get some of its biggest features yet. Death is coming to the world of Landmark, and with it some more common MMO tropes like armor, health, and weapons will arrive....

Fiddlesticks’ rework is finally coming to League of Legends. The scarecrow that’s been haunting matches since the game’s launch over a decade ago has aged fairly poorly. While other champions have received updates to their models and abilities to bring them into the modern Summoner’s Rift, Fiddlesticks has remained the same. He’s still tied together with a few sticks and won’t stop making Wizard of Oz jokes. He’s been in dire need for a rework and visual update, and now he’s finally getting one....

Abdulmanap’s condition improved recently and he regained consciousness but the latest reports indicate that his condition has worsened once again and he has slipped into a coma for the second time. Speaking to CVG, Kinect Star Wars product manager Glenn Gregory spoke of how the game is “for anybody that is a Star Wars fan” instead of something more core oriented like The Old Repbulic. Gregory feels the game is “a great experience for people who love Star Wars,” and like him, “want to share it with their families.” Unfortunately for the core gamer, Kinect Star Wars isn’t the droid - er game, they’re looking for, though most probably figured that out by now....
